Trolley Zine
Problem
Many people feel disconnected from the art world and hesitate to engage in creative activities, leading to a lack of accessible entry points for non-creatives to explore self-expression.
Process
Trolley Zine aimed to inspire a sense of play and creativity among those who didn’t typically identify as artists. The project included self-published issues featuring approachable illustration and collage, alongside interactive elements such as a pullout designed to be cut up and used for collage. Additionally, classes were run to encourage non-creatives to experiment with making art in a welcoming environment.
Result
An inclusive creative project that lowered barriers to artistic participation, empowering individuals to explore creativity in fun, accessible ways and fostering a more engaged, diverse community.
